When some of Australia's most creative minds join forces to brainstorm thought-provoking campaign ideas, this is what you get. A kick-ass, world-class idea that definitely gets my hungry vote... even if I'm more Tetsuya's than Macca's.
Based in Sydney, The Cool Hunter needs no introduction. It's the world's top design, architecture and trends portal, with over 1 million visitors each month. Earlier this year, they've launched their consultancy arm, Access Agency. Based in Melbourne, super talented graphic designer Amy Moss is also the author of popular design blog "Eat Drink Chic", one of my favourite websites for DIY design inspiration.
Together they came up with the "McFancy" concept, a luxury pop-up McDonald's restaurant that launches at Fashion Weeks around the globe - London, New York, Paris, Milan, Sydney, Hong-Kong. Think waiters in tuxedos, silver service, private dining areas and sleek packaging co-created with the fashion brands that present at Fashion Week. A great way to inject a bit of fun among the serious business of fashion, creating a memorable consumer experience and fantastic marketing campaign along the way.
Seriously, how cool are these packagings?! The question is, will McDonald's say yes and venture into new territories?
love it! :-) but i'm sure there's copyright issues using these branding identities
